“Albert Hoffman Homage” is a 16X20 inch art print of the Swiss chemist. I depict myself as Hoffman surrounded by eschscholzia Californica (California poppy) and Nemophila menziesii (baby blue eyes). This piece is inspired by Albert Hoffman's first "trip" when he was on his way home riding his bicycle. Each print is hand signed and numbered.

Albert Hoffman (1906-2008) was a pioneer in the field of psychedelic research, who synthesized and ingested LSD for the first time in 1943. He also isolated, named and synthesized the main psychedelic compounds in magic mushrooms: psilocybin and psilocin¹. He wrote more than 100 scientific articles and several books, including LSD: My Problem Child, where he shared his personal and professional insights on the psychedelic experience². He advocated for the expansion of more psychedelic research and the responsible use of these substances for therapeutic and spiritual purposes³.
